Mr Greg Westbrook has been appointed Diocesan Business Manager (Executive Director), effective 1 July 2026.
Greg has been the Acting Business Manager for the Diocese for 20 months and, in that time, has brought gifts of business acumen, financial expertise and necessary attention to detail. He is committed to the mission and work of the Diocese and brings a pleasant and joyful demeanour to his relations with others.
Greg's appointment to this position has received the unanimous support of the College of Consultors, the Diocesan Finance Council and Bishop-Designate René Ramirez RCJ, wrote Diocesan Administrator, Fr Brian Boyle in a letter announcing the appointment.
In announcing Greg's appointment to this key position, Fr Brian also acknowledged the sterling service of former Business Manager, Cameron Fraser over many years. Cameron is now Chief Executive OfficerCatholic Risk & Insurance Services Ltd (CRIS). Chancery staff, Peter Trendos (former Chief Finance Officer) and Sally Holmes (former EA to the Business Manager) are now working at CRIS in ways that will benefit the Diocese.
